The new SNAP ‘N SHIELD Clevis Support is designed to snap onto clevis hangers, while the original SNAP ‘N SHIELD Pipe Support is designed to snap onto strut channel. Both options help eliminate movement and allow for natural contraction and expansion, all while helping prevent rubbing and friction against the pipe and fittings. Each solution requires no tools to be attached, helping speed the installation process along and delivering an overall lower total installation cost solution.

Cooper B-Line SNAP ‘N SHIELD Pipe Supports offer maximum protection for insulated pipe. It snaps directly into channel to eliminate shield movement and help prevent insulation damage that can lead to costly leaks. The support protects insulation from damage caused by rubbing against other pipes and fittings and allows pipe to expand. Snap 'N Shield is ideal for horizontal pipe runs in refrigeration, air conditioning or plumbing applications.

SNAP 'N SHIELD Clevis
Cooper B-Line SNAP ‘N SHIELD Clevis Pipe Support System offers maximum protection for insulated pipe supported by clevis hangers. The clevis hanger mounted pipe shield system snaps directly onto Cooper B-Line clevis pipe hangers helping eliminate shield movement from thermal expansion and contraction. By doing so, this aids in the prevention of pipe insulation damage which ultimately prevents costly leaks from direct contact between piping and clevis hangers.
Ideal for horizontal pipe runs in refrigeration, air conditioning or plumbing applications, the SNAP ‘N SHIELD system provides insulated pipe protection with high walls that prevent contact of insulated pipe and liquid lines with the clevis hanger.
Manufactured of UV-resistant thermoplastic resin that is suitable for temperatures ranging from -40 degree F to 178 degree F, the saddle has a non-adhesive surface which allows for linear expansion and contraction of thermal insulation.
